The NATO Golf Club had another great outing over the weekend. This time at the Royal Bercuit Golf Club, a course that proved to be enjoyable to play with tremendous scenery but also quite challenging. Once again, we were lucky to have great weather for the day’s event. Fingers crossed that our luck continues for future events.
Chan Faymetta proved to be the golfer to beat today. Posting an adjusted score of 69 he walked off with the Captain’s Cup. Rick Froh was a close second with an adjusted score of 71. Last year’s winner Ken Emerson handed the trophy over to Chan who will safeguard it until next year’s event. Well done, Chan!
Annick Rynders won the long drive with a tremendous shot on hole #13.
Closest to the pin went to Katrin Wien who hit a great shot on hole #5.
