2024-2025 Friendly: A great day at L’Empereur!

For the month of May we got together at L’Empereur Golf Club to play a friendly.  Thanks to great weather as well as a robust turnout we had a tremendous time at what I personally believe to be one of the best courses that we play on a yearly basis.  As expected, the course was in immaculate condition, if you have the chance to play this course which is a short drive south of Brussels it is worth the outing.

While this was a friendly, we did award points for longest drive and closest to the pin.

This month’s winners of the longest driver were the Sonnenbergers.  Simone and Martin both proved to be unreachable off the tee and walked away with longest drives for males and females.  This also marks the final outing for Martin and Simone who are headed to the United States to attend the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania.  Best of luck to you both as you embark on one of the best years in the military!

Closest to the pin went to Guillaume who had a tremendous approach shot on hole #11.

Our next event is the Season Club Championship on 14 June at Chateau de la Tournette.  There are still opportunities to pick up points as we enter the final stretch of the season.
