Sunday the 24th of October began as a cold dark morning at La Tournette, yet the stage was set for our annual IGC match play competition.
This year we pulled together a team of 16, which included both old faces and new members for their first NGC event.
Though cold and early, the day proved to be sunny and gorgeous, though the course was like walking on a wet sponge. Given the time of year, a goodly number of golf balls were lost in the leaves.....
The day ended in a 10 and a 1/2 points tie between the two teams. With this tie, NGC retains the cup for an excellent 5th year in a row.
Great work from our NATO Golfers in an excellent event. The IGC team are always good fun and a wonderful group of people.
For those who have not played in this event yet, please give it serious though next year. We would love to make this a 24 per side event in future.
