A great day for this year's club championship, if not a bit too warm. Saturday afternoon was a bright sunny day. The course was a challenge. Rock hard fairways, slopping often to trouble. Unpredictable greens, and loads of trouble right, for those who go there.
16 intrepid golfers came out to fight it out for a host of prizes and points. Jeff DaRin held the title for three years running. After a hard fought battle, coming down to the last two holes, when the dust had settled,.......a new champion emerged.
Beni Gonzalez-Aller is our 2020 Club Champion. In becoming the Club Champion, Beni had the lowest gross score, lowest net score in Category 1 and fewest putts. Beni takes home three trophies.
A great day was had by all. Its always a pleasure to see our members out enjoying the game, even when the game gets frustrating.....
