It has certainly been an interesting year for the NATO Golf Club. COVID restrictions continued to cause headaches, albeit for good reason. We had a shortened season for our first annual season long race.
The closing event was held at Golf Château de la Tournette, on the Anglais course. It rained initially, as it generally does. Conditions were wet and soggy, yet our troupe trudged on.
Darryl carried the day, picking up his second event win in a row and longest drive for the day.
However, given his strong showing in the Club Championship, Beni came out on top of the season long race. Beni is the winner of the inaugural NATO Cup.
With that Beni will hold this brand new NGC Trophy, through the end of the 2020-2021 season, which will end in June 2021.
Congratulations Beni. Its been a great year, with some great players.
