As we are about a week away from the first competitive event for the NATO Golf Club for 2023, now is a good time to provide the current status of the race for the NATO Cup.
Our illustrious President is currently in first place, with 8 points, with three nipping at his heels in a tie for second place with 7 points.
But, at this point anyone can still win the NATO Cup...even a player that hasn't yet played in the 2022-2023 season! While statistically improbably, a single player starting now would be able to get over 30 points playing very well in the remaining seven events in our season.
You have to play to win, so I hope to see you at the Celtic Quaich on 21 January!
