A total of 7 players joined the traditional Summer Friendly Event this time at Golf de Rigenée. As you can see by the pictures, the weather was once again very accommodating and Golf de Rigenée was in good shape.
The scores were somewhat mixed, but both Berit and Rick had scores within the thirties (stableford) and the “neutral” territory for their handicap
This event gave participation points to all, and another two points were in play for the longest drive (Hole 16) and Closest to the Pin (Hole 18).
Rick once again proved consistency in his drive, and earned another Longest Drive Trophy to his crowded book shelf. None, however, found the green on the 18th, so please remember to join us on the next event after the summer break, and demonstrate your skills.
Our next event will be the 2022/23 Season Barry Carr Memorial Opening Cup (Stableford) hosted at Pierpont Golf Club on the 11. September. At stake for our Season Long Championship is 3 Points to the winner, 2 for 2nd, 1 for others. 1 Longest Drive (Male/Female) and finally 1 Closest to the Pin (Unisex).
